Cindy is a mischievious rescue cat living in our art studio. She apparently arrived via "air mail" (thrown over the fence) from a neighbor who had purchased her for his daughter but decided it was not the right gift for a small child. He later apologised for throwing the 5 week old kitten over the fence and brought us a carton of cat food. We only found Cindy when she was crying loudly from under our cabin. She was malnourished and missed her mother, but we bottle fed her. I'm afriad we also spoiled her by giving her a salmon mash. She has never forgotten the taste of salmon and we still give her generous bits when we have it for dinner. She has grown into a beautiful friend and is constantly purring while sitting near us as we paint. This is a digital image of her, because we think her personality deserves those bright and lively colors! |
